| Making a Difference for Endangered Sharks Until June, there were still large parts of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans where it was legal to cut off sharks’ dorsal, pectoral and tail fins, and then dump them back into the water to die. Defenders of Wildlife asked for your help to end this barbaric practice, and nearly 30,000 wildlife supporters answered our call.
